Joan Briggs wrote about her experience of being owned by 2 Bichon Frisé puppies in
“The Bichon Bug”.

This was a light hearted account of living with a small determined puppy named Abigail who together with her companion Bichon - Henry - soon became  diminutive dictators.

Many 1000’s of  Bichon “owners” around the world laughed at their antics and were amazed at how accurately the descriptions fitted their own Bichons. This led to a demand for a follow up book about the continuing adventures of Abigail and Henry. which was met with “Bichons Naturally”.

Subsequently the very naughty, Irish puppy farm rescue, Chas, joined them and was introduced in “Bichons Three”. In later books the gentlemanly Dylan provided a real contrast and young Tilly rounded off the series of 10 books.
